Crafted Identities — From Idea to Artifact

The High Note Dispensary

The High Note merges the cultures of music and cannabis into a single immersive brand experience. Inspired by the warmth and texture of recording studios, I developed the naming, brand identity, packaging system, and spatial direction for two Los Angeles retail locations. The goal was to create an environment that felt elevated yet welcoming — a tactile, wood-driven aesthetic infused with subtle musical and botanical cues. From signage and shelving to labels and merchandising, every detail was designed to balance craft, culture, and comfort, giving the brand a memorable atmosphere rooted in story and sensory experience.

Brand Identity, Packaging, and Interior Visual Design

Retail & Interior Visual Direction

I shaped the interior direction for two dispensary locations by drawing heavily from recording studios — warm wood tones, acoustic-inspired textures, and ambient lighting. The environments were designed to feel comfortable and inviting, balancing the heritage of music culture with modern cannabis retail. From display cases to wall treatments and brand-driven shelving systems, the spatial experience became an extension of the identity: immersive, tactile, and rooted in craft.

The High Note brand began with a concept that merges the cultures of music and cannabis. The name set the tone for a warm, studio-inspired identity built around creativity and atmosphere. From this foundation, I designed a visual system rooted in acoustic textures, geometric motifs, and bold, modern typography. The logo and supporting elements were created to work seamlessly across signage, packaging, merchandise, and digital touchpoints, giving the brand a cohesive and memorable presence.

I led visual direction for large-scale events, tradeshows, and
internal experiences — shaping everything from booth environments and stage graphics to signage, merch, and printed collateral. My role was to translate brand strategy into cohesive, immersive spaces that felt consistent, elevated, and unmistakably on-brand. Each event
became a visual world of its own, grounded in clarity, atmosphere,
and thoughtful detail.
